Eating "Vlermuisie" (meaning 'small bat') also called "skilpadjie" ('small tortoise') a traditional delicacy - liver in caul. ...and the real tortoise also said good-bye as it moved on into the tall grass...

When we were at home in Pretoria you could almost always find us at this spot first thing in the morning and last at night for a sisterly chat and a ciggie!
