Who is...Malisa?...

Malisa Janes was little more than a name to me before February 16, 2004 but within 30days she became a friend - NO - a SISTER!

I think a few photos can explain better who this exceptional woman is...let me try to do that...

(Please click on the pics to appreciate the emotions...)

ALWAYS laughing and having FUN!

I think if I have to give a description of Malisa and this meander I cannot do it better  than she did herself in one of the first e-mail messages that Patsi and I received after she got home safely again. Here is what she passed on to us...

Living Wide Open: Landscapes of the Mind

                                     by David Markova

I will not die an unlived life.

I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.

I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me

to make me less afraid, more accessible

to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise.

I choose to risk my significance, to live so that which came to me as seed

goes to the next as blossom, and that which comes to me as blossom goes on as fruit.

Enjoy the ride                              author unknown

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body. But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up. Totally worn out and loudly proclaiming: WOW What a ride!

And what a ride I've just had!!!! Thanks to my loving, giving sisters...

Hugs and much love.

But...the tears were left till ...

we also had to say goodbye...
